For best results, Wall Waterproofing Solution should be applied to dry, porous walls that have no visible cracks that are more than hairline in width.
The product can be applied over previously sealed or painted walls with reduced effectiveness as it will act more as a surface sealer rather than a penetrating one.
Wall Waterproofing Solution is a clear drying, however slight darkening and or a slight sheen may be visible after application depending on the porosity of the masonry. This will usually fade over time, however always test a small area, let it dry and then only proceed if the product suits your requirements.
To ensure complete even coverage, Wall Waterproofing Solution is best applied by airless sprayer, back pack garden sprayer for large areas and smaller garden pump up or hand sprayers for smaller areas and for around windows and doorways to prevent overspray getting onto glass or timber. Remove any overspray as quickly as possible with a damp cloth or water spray as the longer it is left the harder it will be to remove.
Coverage
The coverage rate is directly related to the porosity of the masonry, as a guide expect to cover 2.5 square meters per litre.
For very porous masonry a second coat may be needed, you can test this by applying another coat straight after the first coat and if it beads and or runs off the surface then a second application is not required. If however there is no beading or run off then a second application is required.
Data
Masonry that has had suffient Wall Waterproofing solution applied will be water resistant 1 hour after application, with full cure achieved within 7 days.

The product is classified as a non-hazardous material. However, as with all chemical products
good industrial hygiene procedures should be followed when applying.
Wear suitable gloves & goggles and use in well ventilated areas.
Store in well ventilated area and keep container sealed and away from excessive heat and
out of direct sunlight.
